Competition Held to Select Iran’s Representatives in Int’l Quranic Event for Students

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A competition was held in Tehran to select Iran’s representatives in the 7th international Quran contest for school students.

 

Thirty-three students took part in the competition in the categories of Quran recitation and memorization, Iran’s Education Ministry announced.

The top contenders in each category in the boys and girls sections will be announced soon.

They will represent the Islamic Republic in the international Quran competition for school students.

It is slated to be held in the month of Esfand (February-March 2022), concurrent with the annual international Quran competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran.    

In 2019, 38 students from 27 countries took part in the 6th edition of the international Quran competition for school students.
