Justin Bieber Accused of Insulting Muslims' Hijab
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Canadian singer Justin Bieber is accused of insulting Muslim women’s hijab after wearing headscarf in a recent concert in Utah, the US.
He appeared on stage while wearing a headscarf, white pants, and a loose T-shirt. Muslims have found this attire as an insult to their values, waging severe criticism of the pop singer, according to al-Watania.
Parts of his performance has been republished in social media and YouTube which shows him singing songs such as Sorry and Lonely while wearing the headscarf.
Sharing parts of his performance, netizens have both slammed and ridiculed the singer for his choice of attire.
Some users believe his dancing with the headscarf was an insult to Islamic values.
Bieber is set to hold a concert in Saudi Arabia in near future.
