The resumption of the in-person Quranic programs comes after a two-year hiatus caused by the coronavirus.

Some 250 boys and girls attend the classes, according to Mohammad Baqir al-Mansouri, who heads the international branches department of the Dar-ol-Quran.

He said that given the improvement in the COVID-19 situation in the Indonesian capital, the conditions were provided for holding in-person courses while complying with the health protocols.

He added that there are different courses offered by the branch in Jakarta, including Quran memorization, recitation, reading, and Tafseer (interpretation).

The Dar-ol-Quran Center organizes various Quranic programs in Iraq and other countries with the aim of promoting Quran sciences and training Quran memorizers and reciters.
