TEHRAN (IQNA) – Talks have been made between Al-Mustafa International University with Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) for holding Quranic events and competitions.

 

The university’s head of Quranic and cultural activities Sheikh Akram al-Na’mani held talks with the head of the Dar-ol-Quran Center of the Astan of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine in Karbala Sheikh Khairuddin al-Hadi.

The meeting was held in line with efforts to develop Quranic programs, according to the media center of the Astan.

The sides discussed joint cooperation for staging Quranic activities that fit Iraq.

Al-Na’mani appreciated the plans and achievements of the center aimed at serving the Quran.

He said that the sides had conferred on holding a Quranic festival that includes competitions in memorization, recitation, Tafsir, and Adhan categories.
