TEHRAN (IQNA) – The Women Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in Karbala has staged six Quranic courses for 111 women in Iraq.

Masooma Al-Kashmiri, head of courses at the institute, says four Quranic courses were launched in the city of Najaf for female students, according to Al-Kafeel website.

These courses were held with the participation of 79 students who were put into two categories of adults and teenagers based on their age, she added.

Another course, she continued, was held for women in Karbala province and 24 students took part in it. The last course was staged for Iraqi women who live outside the country and a total of eight people participated in it.

The courses provide instructions on memorization, recitation, and Tajweed of the Holy Quran and provide the opportunity for the learners to receive training virtually.
