Hojat-ol-Islam Mojtaba Mohammadi, director of the Meshkat Quranic Institute, said that six Quranic sessions will be staged with the participation of Egyptian as well as international Iranian qaris in Tehran and Alborz provinces.

According to him, Abdul Nasir Harak and Yasir Sharqawi are the two invited Egyptian qaris to Iran.

The programs will start two hours before sunset and will end with prayer and iftar, he added.

The venues for the sessions will soon be announced, Mohammadi added.

“Considering that many Quranic centers and circles had been shut down during the pandemic, we decided to stage several Quranic programs to generate enthusiasm among people,” he said.

The holy month of Ramadan is known as the month of the Quran and numerous programs are held every year in Muslim countries and communities to pay more attention to the Holy Book.
