Quranic Course for Women Wraps Up in Syria’s Homs
Homs is a city in western Syria and the capital of the Homs Governorate.
The course was held in cooperation with Aiwan Hasiya Quranic Center, according to Ali Abol Hassan, head of the Quran Propagation Center’s branch in Syria.
Thirty girls and women from different age groups took the course, which was aimed at enhancing their Quranic skills.
They were given lessons on Tajweed, Quran recitation and other skills related to Quranic sciences, he said.
The official added that the participants were given certificates of honor at the closing ceremony.
They also received pilgrimage packages to visit the holy shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (SA) in Damascus, he stated.
It was the first such Quranic program for women in Homs and more such activities are planned to be held in the future.
