Iranian Scholar’s Paper Wins Third Rank at ‘Orientalism and Imam Hussein’ Conference

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A paper submitted by Iranian scholar Hojat-ol-Islam Saeed Jazari Ma’amuei won the third rank in an international conference in Karbala.

The Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine hosted the third edition of the “Orientalism and Imam Hussein (AS)” international conference.

It was launched in Karbala on May 12 with the motto of “Imam Hussein (AS); being global and everlasting”.

Scholars and researchers from 103 universities and 29 international academic centers took part in the scholarly event.

They were from various countries, including Iraq, Iraq, Syria, France, the US, Spain, the UK, Palestine, Ghana, India, Tunisia, Pakistan, Algeria, Nigeria, Colombia, Bangladesh, Turkey, Bahrain, Afghanistan, Italy and Indonesia.

The paper submitted by Hojat-ol-Islam Jazari, who is the president of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) Islamic University, won the third rank in the conference, according to Maryam al-Yaseri, head of the organizing committee.
