TEHRAN (IQNA) – Messengers of God are duty-bound to convey divine messages and commandments to people without any change in them.

In this mission, divine prophets have a specified sphere to work in.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) invited people to worship God and do good:

“Call (them) to the path of your Lord through wisdom and good advice and argue with them in the best manner.” (Verse 125 of Surah An-Nahl)

He began acting upon divine commandments: “And thy garments keep free from stain!” (Verse 4 of Surah Al-Muddaththar)

Then, at the order of God, he started teaching his wives and daughters:

“O Prophet, tell your wives, your daughters and the believing women to draw their veils close to them, so it is likelier they will be known, and not hurt. Allah is the Forgiver, the Most Merciful.” (Verse 59 of Surah Al-Ahzab)

Then he was tasked with guiding his relatives:

“And warn your nearest relations.” (Verse 214 of Surah Ash-Shu’ara)

Later, his mission expanded to guide the people of Mecca and nearby areas to worshipping God:

“We have blessed this Book (the Quran) and revealed it to confirm that which was revealed to the Prophets who lived before you and to warn the people of the mother land (Mecca) and those living around it.” (Verse 92 of Surah Al-An’am)

And then he started guiding humanity to the Straight Path:

“We have sent you as a bearer of glad news and a warner to the whole of mankind, but most people do not know.” (Verse 28 of Surah Saba)
