Iran’s 46th National Quran Competition Announces Winners

IQNA – Winners of the 46th edition of Iran’s National Holy Quran Competitions were announced ahead of the closing ceremony.

 

The organizing committee of the Quran competition released the top winners of the eight categories in a statement on Saturday morning.

According to the announcement, Seyyed Mohammad Hosseinipur won the title in the men’s recitation category while Hamidreza Nasiri and Habib Sedaqat stood next.

In the men’s Tarteel recitation category, Mojtaba Qadbeigi, Ruhollah Aqaei, and Hossein Rafipur won the top three places respectively.

In men’s memorization of the entire Quran category, Mohammad Khakpur won the top rank while Mohammadreza Zahedi and Milad Eshqi finished next.

In the men’s category of memorization of 20 Juzes, Hadi Tekyeh achieved the top place as Mahdi Barandeh and Mohammad Ali Keshavarz finished next.

In the women’s category of recitation, the top prize went to Atefeh Naseh. Nasibeh Karami Parsa and Masoumeh Albughabish stood next.

In the women’s category of entire Quran memorization, Fatemeh Daliri was named the top winner while Zahra Ansari and Fatemeh Ebrahimi achieved the next ranks respectively.

Qazal Soheilizadeh and Shima Yazdani also won the top place in women’s Tarteel recitation and memorization of 20 Juzes respectively.

Winners will be awarded at the closing ceremony, slated for Saturday evening, in Bojnourd, North Khorasan province. 

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Quran Competition is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of top Quran qaris and memorizers from across the country.

It is aimed at discovering Quranic talents and promoting Quranic activities in society.

The top winners of the competition will represent Iran in the upcoming international Quran competitions across the world.
