Int’l Congress to Discuss Ayatollah Khamenei’s Quranic Thoughts

IQNA – An international congress is planned to be organized in Iran’s central city of Isfahan to investigate the Quranic thoughts of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

The office of Al-Mustafa International University in Isfahan will host the scholarly event on Wednesday, December 20, Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Amir Reza Tahaei, the head of the office noted at a press conference on Monday.

He noted that it will be the third edition of the congress after the two previous editions were held in Tehran in previous years.

According to the cleric, more than 2,400 papers and abstract papers have been submitted to the secretariat of the congress.

They include 244 papers in 22 languages written by scholars and researchers from 21 countries, he stated.  

He said 183 preliminary sessions have been held in 30 provinces of Iran ahead of the main event, adding that there have also been 65 workshops.

He expressed hope that the international congress will help to promote the Quranic culture in society.
