The Moroccan Front for Supporting Palestine and Opposing Normalization of Ties with Zionist Regime organized the demonstrations Tuesday on the anniversary of the Day of Nakba, according to Arabi21.
Nakba is marked by Palestinians every May 15 to remember the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes and lands in 1948 after the founding of the Israeli regime.
For the Palestinians, Nakba means a painful and sad occasion when their ancestors were forced out of their homes and lands.
Another major rally is planned in Morocco’s Casablanca on Sunday to condemn the Israeli regime’s genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the offensive on Rafah.
