Registration Launched for Iran’s 47th National Quran Contest

IQNA – The process of organizing Iran’s 47th National Holy Quran Competition got underway with the opening of registration for the Quranic event.

Those willing to compete in different categories in the 47th edition can sign up via the website of the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.

The registration began on May 21 but announcing its details was postponed after five days of mourning were announced for the martyrdom of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and his companions in a helicopter crash.

The deadline for registration is June 8, according to the organizing committee.

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Quran Competition is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization with the participation of top Quran activists from across the country.

It is aimed at discovering Quranic talents and promoting Quranic activities in society.

The top winners of the competition will represent Iran in the international Quran competitions across the world.
