Lebanese Culture Minister Lauds Late Iranian President, FM’s Stances on Palestine

IQNA – The culture minister of Lebanon said Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who were martyred in a recent helicopter crash, stood with the people of Palestine with decisive stances.

Muhammad Wissam Al-Murtada made the remark while addressing an international conference on the Gaza Strip in Tehran. 

The conference “Gaza; The Resistant Oppressed” was held at the IRIB International Conferences Hall on Saturday morning.

Al-Murtada said the martyrs supported the people of Gaza and Palestine persistently.

He expressed confidence that their memory will remain alive in the conscience of people and that the Islamic Republic will proudly move on from this tragic incident. 

President Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and their accompanying delegation lost their lives after the helicopter carrying them crashed in the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan on May 19, 2024.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the Lebanese minister referred to the Israeli regime’s war on the Gaza Strip and those martyred in Gaza sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the Palestinian lands.

He added that all Muslim nations should set aside their differences and use all their power in confronting the fake regime of Israel and so that Palestine will be liberated.

He went on to say that the truth about what is going in Palestine has been revealed to all and the world countries have taken noble stances on the issue of Palestine.
