Organizing Committee Begins Preparations for Int’l Quran Contest in UAE
A meeting of the committee took place at the United Arab Emirates’ Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Department this week.
The meeting discussed the readiness of different executive teams for best organizing the event.
The competition is scheduled for March 2025, concurrent with the holy month of Ramadan.
Quran recitation, Adhan (call to prayer) and Khataba (religious sermon) are among the categories of the contest.
The first edition of the international Quranic event was held in the Persian Gulf Arab country in 2015.
The annual contest aims to encourage the youth to get acquainted with Quranic teachings and genuine Islamic values.
