Umrah Pilgrims Urged to Follow Health Protocols
In the statement, the ministry stressed the need for Umrah pilgrims to comply with the health protocols.
It also underlined the importance of wearing masks for preventing the spread of viruses and contagious respiratory diseases.
Given that there are large gatherings and crowds in holy sites during the pilgrimage, wearing masks helps a lot in protecting the health of pilgrims, the statement read.
Umrah pilgrims are also required to keep social distancing to reduce the risk of spread of viruses.
They are also urged to wash their hands with water and soap and use disinfectants, according to the statement.
