Iran to Give ‘Crushing’ Response to Israeli Enemy: Leader

IQNA – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution says Iran will give a “crushing” response to the atrocities of the Israeli regime and the United States against the country and the Resistance Axis.

“Our enemies, including the U.S. and the Zionist regime, should know that they will receive a crushing response for any actions they take against Iran and the resistance front,” Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Saturday in a meeting with a host of Iranian students.

The comments come as Tehran has pledged to respond to an Israeli aggression on the Iranian soil last Saturday.

“This is not solely about revenge,” highlighted the Leader, adding, “It’s about a logical course of action—a confrontation rooted in faith, ethics, and Islamic law, in line with international law.

“The Iranian people and officials will not hesitate or fall short in this endeavor; be assured of that,” he stressed.

The meeting with students come as Iran commemorates the National Day of the Fight against Global Arrogance, marked every year on the anniversary of US Embassy Takeover in 1979.

“In confronting global arrogance, we are fully committed to preparing the Iranian nation in every necessary way—militarily, in terms of armaments, and politically,” Ayatollah Khamenei added.

This fight is a resistance against “international injustice,” he said, noting that for the Iranian people, who are inspired by Islamic teachings, standing up against oppression and arrogance is a “duty.”

“Arrogance means comprehensive economic, military, and cultural dominance that humiliates nation; they humiliated the Iranian nation for years. This is why Iran’s struggle against arrogance has existed and will certainly continue,” he said.

“The overall direction of the Iranian people and the country’s officials is firmly set on resisting global arrogance and the oppressive powers dominating today’s world order,” added Ayatollah Khamenei.
