IQNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi underlined that the country will definitely respond to the Israeli regime’s recent act of aggression.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi attended a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held in Islamabad on November 5, 2024.

Iran does not seek tensions but reserves its inherent right to defense, Araghchi said during a joint press conference with his Pakistani counterpart Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held in Islamabad on Tuesday.

In the early hours of October 26, Israeli warplanes used the space available to the US military in Iraq to fire long-range air-to-air missiles at military installations in Iran’s Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces. The assault killed four Iranian Army officers and a civilian.

Araghchi said at the Islamabad press conference that the Islamic Republic of Iran will certainly respond to the Israeli aggression duly, judiciously and in a calculated way at the appropriate time.

He appreciated the stances of Pakistan in condemnation of the Israeli regime’s attack on Iran.

The Iranian top diplomat also hailed the Pakistani people and government’s support for the people of the Gaza Strip and the cause of Palestine.

Deploring the international community’s failure to stop the Zionist regime’s genocide and acts of aggression that endanger regional and international peace and security, he said Muslim countries are trying to resolve the crisis and put an end to the Israeli crimes.
