The Museum was inaugurated on Friday by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, according to The National News.
The museum aims to offer visitors an opportunity to explore the diverse cultural heritage of Islamic civilisation.
It houses a vast collection of exhibits spanning centuries, including significant artefacts such as the first Islamic gold coin, part of the Kiswa (covering) of the Holy Kaaba, and gold-illuminated pages of the Blue Quran.
The collection also includes data-x-items from the personal archive of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Founding Father. Combining tradition with modern technology, the museum features five sections that incorporate interactive and multimedia elements.
