The Quranic program was organized by the Dar-ol-Quran center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine.
More than 80 women from Babil took the course, named Safinat-ul-Najat (the Ship of Salvation).
It featured verses of the Quran that are about Imam Hussein (AS).
Senior official of the Astan Sayed Murtadha Jamaledin and coordinator of the Astan’s Quranic courses for women Umm Ilaf al-Halfi were present at the closing ceremony.
It began with recitation of verses from the Quran by Ali Musa and then Jamaledin delivered a speech about specialized Quranic courses and about the status of Imam Hussein (AS) according to the Quran.
Huda al-Shammari, the instructor of the course, also delivered a speech.
