Astan of Hazrat Abbas Shrine Participates in the Karbala Int’l Book Fair
Its pavilion in the book fair has presented the books and publications of the Astan, Al-Kafeel.
Sayed Mohammad Al-Araji, the head of the pavilion, said that the Astan’s different sections, including the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs, the Quranic Scientific Assembly, the Al-Wafi Documentation and Research Institute, and the Higher Association for Reviving Heritage, have presented their works at the cultural event.
The Astan is presenting 50 more works at the pavilion this year compared to last year, he noted.
The aim of participating in the book fair is to promote the culture of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and to introduce the scientific and educational sections of the Astan, he said, adding that the works displayed in the pavilion cater to all age groups and academic levels.
Every year, the Astan participates in various domestic and international book fairs to foster constructive ideas in society and promote the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).

The 19th Karbala International Book Fair was inaugurated on Saturday and will run until February 10.
