IQNA – In order to promote Islam, Moroccan officials donated copies of the Holy Quran to Moroccans living abroad who returned to the country.

Copies of the Holy Quran were donated to Moroccans living abroad who returned to the country (July 24, 2025).

 

According to News 55, on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the beginning of friendship and strong relations between the Alawites and the people of Morocco, the Local Scientific Council of the Nador province of Morocco, in cooperation with the regional Islamic Affairs Board of the province, organized a welcoming ceremony for Moroccans living abroad returning to their country.

It was held at the Nador Al-Aaroui International Airport on Wednesday evening.

During the ceremony, copies of the Holy Quran were distributed to Moroccans returning to the Arab country.

The copies were in original Arabic, as well as copies translated into French and Spanish, so that those living in these countries could become more familiar with the concepts of the Holy Book.

The ceremony was attended by prominent Moroccan religious figures.

This initiative was carried out within the framework of implementing a religious propagation plan and strengthening the role of religious institutions in supporting communication with Moroccans around the world.
