Organized by the Islamic Da’wah Center in Latin America in cooperation with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah and Guidance of Saudi Arabia, it took place from November 21 to 23, 2025, under the theme “Youth in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Prospects and Challenges,” muslimsaroundtheworld website reported.

It brought together representatives from Latin America, the Caribbean and the Islamic world to discuss issues facing Muslim youth and mechanisms for using artificial intelligence technologies in accordance with Islamic values ​​and principles.

The opening ceremony included an address by Awad bin Sabti Al-Anzi, the Saudi deputy minister of Islamic Affairs and Guidance. Representatives from participating countries also delivered welcoming speeches.

The speakers at the conference focused on the importance of Muslim youth in minority communities and their role in the use of artificial intelligence, and examined its applications in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The conference also discussed ways to promote the optimal use of modern technologies in the service of Muslim communities and the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and information.

In addition, the most prominent doctrinal, legal, intellectual, technological, linguistic, ethical, and social challenges related to artificial intelligence were raised and ways to address them in accordance with Islamic principles and values ​​were examined.
