Quranic Seminar in Iraq’s Diyala Discusses Status of Hazrat Zahra

IQNA – A Quranic seminar entitled Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA) and the Laws of Divine Selection” was held in Diyala Governorate of Iraq.

The Holy Quran Scientific Assembly affiliated with the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine organize the scholarly event.

It included an address by religious scholar Sayyid Sajjad Al-Askari, who examined the concept of the laws of divine selection in the Holy Quran and explained its literal and Quranic meanings.

He mentioned examples of divine selection, including the selection of Hazrat Maryam (Mary) (SA) as the mother of Prophet Jesus (AS) due to her spiritual status and acts of worship.

The seminar also addressed the position of Hazrat Zahra (SA) as a pure medium of prophethood and Imamate, and how the Imams (AS), including Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his glad advent), were chosen from among her children.

He also talked about the injustices that Hazrat Zahra (SA) had suffered.

This seminar was part of a series of events and programs organized by the Holy Quran Scientific Assembly in various provinces of Iraq to spread the Quranic culture and increase awareness about the status of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
