The channel confirmed that registration opens on December 11 and continues until February 2, 2026. The event is recognized as the world’s first live televised Quran recitation contest and one of the largest held annually during Ramadan.
Participants, aged 17 and above, must register through Al-Kawthar’s website or designated WhatsApp and Telegram numbers. They are required to submit a three-minute recitation from selected verses of Surah Al-An’am, Surah Ibrahim, or Surah An-Nahl.

After initial judging, 96 contestants will qualify for the broadcast round and join via Skype during Ramadan. The top 24, plus one chosen by viewers, will move to the semi-finals.
Five finalists from five countries will then compete on the night of Eid al-Fitr.
