
According to Al-Kawthar TV’s public relations office, registration for the 19th edition of the contest, slated for Ramadan 2026, will begin soon.
Those interested in participating in this competition should pay attention to the following steps:
Step 1: Registration
Registration will open on December 11, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (SA), and run through February 2, 2026, the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS).
Those interested can register via Al-Kawthar Network website at www.alkawthartv.ir or via WhatsApp and Telegram at 00989108994025.
Stage 2: Submitting a recitation
Participants must submit an audio or video recitation with a duration of approximately three minutes from one of the following sections:
Verses 13-16 of Surah An-An’am
Verses 47-51 of Surah Ibrahim
Verses 41-44 of Surah An-Nahl
Stage 3: Judgement and Selection of Winners
After the initial judging, 96 contestants will be selected to appear on the program.
Each participant will be given a section of verses to recite and submit the file within three days.

The selected participants must be present via Skype during the broadcast of their recitations during the month of Ramadan, as previously arranged.
Semi-final and final stages
Out of the 96 participants, the top 24 reciters (maximum two from each country) will advance to the semi-finals, and one person will be added by viewer vote.
Finally, the top 5 reciters from five countries will advance to the final stage, which will be held, God willing, on the night of Eid al-Fitr.
Those willing to participate in this competition must be 17 years of age or older, complete registration (enter their name, country, age, contact number), and submit their recitation of selected verses with the mention of the Surah and verses.

The phone-in Quran competition titled “Inna lil-Muttaqina Mafaza” (Indeed, for the righteous is attainment- Holy Quran, 78:31) is the first television recitation competition in the world.
