
Speaking in an interview with IQNA on the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zahra (SA). Sadiq Saliymiyyah said Hazrat Zahra (SA) argued with the Quran in pursuit of her right to inherit from her father.
“Also, during the Saqifa, she taught Muslims how to argue and reason with the Holy Quran and to stand firm on their principles, and she also taught Muslim women how to be role models for their families,” the Algerian researcher and media advisor to the North African country’s former minister of religious affairs said.
Highlighting the virtues and merits of Hazrat Zahra (SA), he said she is the greatest lady in the world in all eras and had all the moral and behavioral qualities.
He added that the Holy Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) are one and Hazrat Zahra (SA) is the embodiment of the speaking Quran and her children are also like that.
As for Hazrat Zahra’s presence in the social arena, Saliymiyyah said she played a steadfast, truthful and unwavering role.
He said that Hazrat Zahra (SA) argued with the Quran in order to prove and fulfill her right to inherit from her father. “She was the one who, during the usurpation of Fadak, argued with those who had confiscated her land based on a fake hadith, using the Holy Quran.

The scholar referred to the incident of Saqifa, saying one of the verses that Hazrat Zahra (SA) recited to the Ansar was verse 13 of Surah At-Tawbah.
“In this verse, God says that those who break their covenants and seek to expel the Messenger and start fighting are the Imams and the leaders of disbelief and you should fight with them. Hazrat Zahra (SA) compared these people to the leaders of Saqifa and said to the Ansar: ‘Why did you remain silent and join them?’”
Saliymiyyah said Hazrat Zahra (SA) taught Muslims how to reason using the Holy Quran and how to stand firm on their principles.
“She taught Muslim women how to be role models for their families and children.”
