It quoted Sayid Faez Al-Tu’ma, one of the officials of this unit, as saying that the staff have dusted the courtyard of the holy shrine and increased their services by increasing the number of pilgrimage books, distributing prayer books and organizing libraries and tombstones.
He added that on the occasion of the Mid-Shaaban Eid, sweets will be distributed among pilgrims to the holy shrine and this auspicious day will be accompanied by special services.
Meanwhile, Abbas Ali Abu al-Auf, deputy head of the Astan’s Department of Services for Pilgrims, said the staff of this department have equipped the shrine’s cellars with all the amenities to welcome female pilgrims participating in the celebrations.
He added the cellars are filled with copies of the Quran, prayer rugs, and books of prayers and special pilgrimage items, in order to facilitate the performance of the pilgrimage rituals in addition to providing all the necessary services to ensure a desirable pilgrimage.
Abu al-Auf said the staff of this department are trying to provide the best support services to ensure the smooth movement of female pilgrims and also to increase comfort and cleanliness in the designated areas.
