The latest episode of the program aired this Friday evening brought exciting moments, as the method of announcing the results was different from the usual ones and instead of the traditional scoring system for each member of the jury, a new method was adopted, according to which each judge voted with a card to select the participant who was the most deserving to win the special section prize: the “Golden Branch Award”.
The episode included a competition between a group of young and prominent talents, including Muhammad Al-Qalaji, the only remaining participant in the children's section, along with Omar Ali Awad, Abdullah Abdul-Mujood and Ali Muhammad Mustafa.
The jury and the audience in this section emphasized that all the participants deserve to be recognized for their excellent and outstanding performances.
The voting process began with the distribution of cards to the judges, each of whom wrote the name of the participant they thought deserved to win, without being informed of the other judges’ choices. This created an atmosphere of suspension and excitement.
When the results were announced, it was revealed that the first, second and third votes went to Omar Ali Awad, a fourth-grade student, and the fourth vote went to Muhammad Al-Qalaji.
With the fifth card, Omar Ali Awad was announced as the winner of the Golden Branch Award and was honored in the presence of Osama Al-Azhari, the Egyptian minister of Awqaf.
Al-Azhari congratulated all the participants for their remarkable performances and praised the high level of talent of the emerging participants in the program.
