The competition was recently held among regional schools in northern al-Quds, and Mohammed and Ilmi Yasser Mansour came first in the male and female categories respectively, Sawt al-Arab reported.

This is while the Israeli aggression in different parts of the West Bank continues.

Local sources in the West Bank reported that the occupation forces arrested two young men named Ahmed Yahya Saleh and Ibrahim Saleh after raiding their homes in the village of “Asirat al-Qibliyyah” in southern Nablus.

In Gaza, too, despite the ongoing war and attacks by the Israeli regime, the people of the enclave continue to take part in Quran memorization and recitation programs.

Before the start of the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip, 55,000 men and women who had memorized the Holy Quran lived in the Gaza Strip.
