The 65 boys and girls aged 4 to 9, dressed in traditional Palestinian clothing and wearing the ‘Light Bearers’ costume, took part in the program held at the ‘Gharas’ school and kindergarten in Gaza, reciting parts of the Holy Quran in front of their teachers, Al Jazeera reported.
Holding banners that expressed the message of this campaign, instilling love for the Holy Quran, they portrayed a vivid image of children who are trying to reach the light in a time full of war and pressure.
In this gathering and in an atmosphere full of faith and spirituality, the faces of the children, full of enthusiasm, stood out beautifully, and the teachers and parents, feeling proud, shed tears of joy as they witnessed their students and children taking their first steps on the path of memorizing the Book of God.
This scene was not just a passing memorization and recitation session, but a vivid image of a child who, during the war and under the pressure of the pain and suffering it caused, tried to adhere to the light of his faith and convey a message that confirmed that the Quran is still able to revive confidence and hope in the hearts of young people.
The spiritual program "Movement of Light" was designed to provide a safe and faith-based educational environment for the children of Gaza with the aim of creating a bond between the new generation and the Holy Quran through its memorization, recitation and understanding, and to present a model character and behavior to the Palestinian Muslim community.

Officials emphasize that celebrating children who memorize the Quran is not only about the extent of their memorization, but also about building a human being who carries light in his heart and grows up with greater compassion, awareness, and commitment; a message that confirms that the Quran is still capable of creating hope and life even in the most difficult circumstances.
