
Bashundhara Group, one of Bangladesh’s leading industrial conglomerates, has distributed copies of the Holy Quran among 6,180 students from 43 educational institutions in Bancharampur and Nabinagar upazilas of Brahmanbaria and Homna upazila of Cumilla.
The formal distribution program was held on Sunday at Rabeya Memorial Girls’ School and College in Nabinagar.
The event, held at the institution’s auditorium at noon, was presided over by Head Teacher Md Amir Faisal and conducted by Md Chan Mia Sarkar, a lecturer of Bancharampur Government College.
More than 200 students attended the program. The students expressed their happiness after receiving copies of the Holy Quran with Bengali translation and tafseer (interpretation), saying it would help them better understand its meanings and teachings.
Speakers at the event praised Bashundhara Group for its long-standing initiative, noting that the group has been distributing copies of the Holy Quran every year since 1999.
They encouraged students to read and understand the Quran and to shape their lives according to its teachings, especially with the holy month of Ramadan approaching.

The program concluded with closing remarks by Md Amir Faisal, who thanked Bashundhara Group and all participants and prayed for everyone’s lives to be enlightened by the teachings of the Holy Quran.
