Iran’s Representatives among Finalists of Turkey Int’l Quran Contest

IQNA – The representatives of Iran in the 10th edition of Turkey’s international Holy Quran competition made it to the final stage of the Quranic event.

Yousef Jafarzadeh and Mohammad Laeini will represent the Islamic Republic of Iran in the final round of the competition.

The preliminary round was held virtually, and Jafarzadeh in the category of Quran recitation and Laeini in the category of memorization of the entire Quran successfully qualified for the finals.

Jafarzadeh from the southern province of Hormozgan was a finalist of Iran’s 48th National Quran Competition.

Laini, who is from the northern province of Mazandaran, ranked third in the memorization category of Iran’s 48th National Quran Competition.

In the preliminary stage of the Turkish international Quran competition, the results of which were announced on the first day of Ramadan with the introduction of the finalists, he answered three questions from the examiners online.

The final stage of the 10th international Quran competition of Turkey will be held from April 2 to 30.

The venue of the Quranic event is not yet known, but Ankara or Istanbul will most likely host it.

Last year, Seyed Parsa Angoshtan and Milad Asheghi from Iran finished runner-up in the competition’s categories of recitation and memorization, respectively.
