Young Girls Compete in Quranic Event in Najaf

IQNA – The Women Dar-ul-Quran Center affiliated to the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Ali (AS) holy shrine is holding a Quranic competition for young girls.

Titled “The Best Creature” it has been organized in the holy month of Ramadan and features memorization and interpretation of Surah “Al-Bayyinah”.

This competition is for girls aged 6 to 13 and has been designed in an offline format and aims to strengthen the Quranic skills of the new generation.

It has been organized with an educational approach appropriate to the age of the participants.

This and similar programs aim to increase children’s familiarity with Quranic concepts, strengthen their recitation and memorization skills, and deepen their connection with the Word of Revelation.

Dalal Al-Tabatabai, the head of the Women Dar-ul-Quran Center, said the competition is held remotely via the Telegram messaging app and its themes include memorizing verses, interpreting words, and teaching recitation rules.

According to Al-Tabatabai, the final stage will be held on the 15th of the holy month of Ramadan, concurrent with the birth anniversary of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS).

Emphasizing the importance of implementing these programs, she described them as a type of Quranic investment in childhood that pursues education and skill training together and provides the basis for identifying and nurturing future Quranic talents.

These activities are carried out in line with the mission of the Women Dar-ul-Quran Center to raise a Quranic generation and institutionalize faith values ​​in the souls and lives of children from an early age, she stated.

These programs are part of the Ramadan events series of the center held every year with the aim of supporting the education of the Holy Quran and strengthening the targeted presence of girls in specialized Quranic activities and events.
