Oman’s Monarch, Leaders of Neighboring Countries Congratulate Islamic Revolution Leader

IQNA – The Sultan of Oman congratulated Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei on his election as the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

In a message addressed to Ayatollah Khamenei on Monday, Haitham bin Tariq wished Ayatollah Khamenei success in conducting his new responsibilities as Leader of Iran as a friendly neighbor of Oman. 

Congratulatory messages were also sent by leaders of other countries, including the prime ministers of Iraq and Armenia and the presidents of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei was elected on Sunday to succeed his late father Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who was martyred in a US-Israeli terrorist airstrike on his office on February 28—the first day of their military aggression against Iran.

In response to the US-Israeli aggression, which has also led to the martyrdom of a number of senior military commanders and hundreds of civilians, Iran launched Operation True Promise 4, carrying out massive missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets and US bases in the region.
