
Sheikh Ravil Gaynutdin, who heads the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation, in a message said he was extending the congratulations on behalf of the Russian Council of Muftis and Russia’s 25 million Muslims, wishing the new leader success in guiding the Iranian nation and upholding the dignity of an independent Iran.
He expressed hope that Ayatollah Khamenei’s leadership would contribute to Iran’s development, promote peace in the West Asia region, and strengthen unity among Muslim communities worldwide.

Gaynutdin noted that the new leader assumes responsibility at a difficult and historic moment following the martyrdom of his father, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
He also voiced hope that relations between Iran and Russia would continue to expand in the interests of both nations and prayed for security, peace, and prosperity for Iran and other countries in the region.
