Youssef Belmahdi said the society of Algeria continues to play a central role in teaching the Quran through its libraries (zawaya) and Quranic schools, el-Massa reported.
The publication of the Algerian Mus’haf in Braille according to the Warsh narration, the printing of a special Quran commemorating the 60th anniversary of Algeria’s independence, and the referral of the historical Rhodesian Quran for scientific examination and review are among the efforts of the country to serve the Quran, he said while speaking at a special scientific meeting on the calligraphy (katabat) of Algerian Mus’hafs.
