1,605 Virtual Khatm Quran Recitations at Karbala Dar-ol-Quran Center

IQNA – The online Quranic Activities Unit of the Quranic Research and Studies Center affiliated to the Dar-ol-Quran Center of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine announced the registration of 1,605 virtual Khatm Quran recitations by women in schools and groups affiliated with this center.

Khatm Quran refers to reading the Holy Quran from the beginning to the end.

Wissam Nazir Al-Dulfi, head of the Quranic Media Center of the holy shrine’s Astan (custodianship), said that with the coordinated efforts of the officials of the Online Quranic Activities Unit, the number of Quran recitations held in the virtual space has reached 1,605.

He said this program was held thanks to the efforts of Muhammad Al-Tai, head of the Online Quranic Activities Unit, with the coordination of Umm Eilaf Al-Halfi, and the supervision of Murtaza Jamal Al-Din, head of the academic department.

Al-Dulfi added that women Quran teachers have played an important role in holding these Khatm Qurans, and 284 women teachers in 9 virtual Quranic schools have contributed to this program.

Regarding the organization of the Khatm Qurans, he said teachers and students of Quran memorization have participated in the program online and regularly, and have been reciting the Quran according to a pre-planned schedule.

Al-Dulfi also noted that i addition to the Khatm Qurans, an educational program is being implemented via Telegram, which includes direct interaction with Quran learners, and each school has a certain number of participants.
