Ben-Gvir raided the holy site along with illegal Israeli settlers under the protection of the occupation forces.

The General Secretariat of the OIC also denounced the continued closure of the mosque and prevention of worshippers from accessing it.

In an official statement, the organization considered that the continued closure of the mosque constitutes an extension of Israel’s repeated violations of the sanctity of holy sites and freedom of worship, and a blatant violation of the Geneva Conventions and international law.

The organization held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for the repercussions of these daily attacks on the city of Jerusalem al-Quds, its people, and its holy sites.
