Meeting Discusses Organizing Arbaeen Quranic Stations in Iraq
The meeting was part of the initial preparations for launching the Arbaeen Quranic Stations project.
It took place in cooperation with the Najaf Holy Quran Center as pilgrims have begun their journey to the holy city of Karbala on the Arbaeen walking route.
The meeting began with a speech by Sheikh Mahdi Qalandar, one of the project officials, who discussed educational points and guidelines related to the nature of field work in Arbaeen and the importance of benefiting from Quranic stations to spread the Quranic culture among pilgrims.
The agenda of this meeting included reviewing the organizational guidelines and the mechanism for implementing the project.
Muhammad Ali Rashid, head of the Najaf Quran Recitation Unit, gave a detailed explanation of the operational mechanisms of the Arbaeen Quranic stations, and Neema Al-Asadi from the Quality and Performance Evaluation Unit reviewed the standards and implementation procedures adopted to ensure the quality of implementation.
Muhammad Ali Rashid said the officials and supervisors of the Quranic stations project, including 35 teachers and Quran reciters, were present at the meeting.
These individuals will manage and supervise seven Quranic stations located throughout the city of Najaf and its surrounding areas and towns, and will provide Quranic programs and activities for pilgrims to the Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine during the Arbaeen ceremony, he noted.
The meeting reflected the commitment of the Najaf Quran Center to providing integrated services during Arbaeen, increasing the readiness of participants in the Quranic station project, and clarifying the mechanisms for managing Quranic stations based on the method approved by the center.

This will contribute to the success of the project and the provision of specific Quranic services commensurate with the importance and status of the Arbaeen procession.
It is worth mentioning that the plan to set up Quranic stations during the Arbaeen pilgrimage includes holding Quranic gatherings and special programs to teach pilgrims how to recite the Quran correctly.
These stations are set up every year on the main routes of the Arbaeen pilgrimage and welcome thousands of pilgrims interested in learning the Quran.
