IQNA – Speakers at an international specialized seminar on resistance in the Quranic thoughts of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei highlighted different aspects of the Quranic life of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

An international specialized seminar was held in Qom on April 25, 2026, on the theme of resistance in the Quranic thoughts of martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

Titled “Jihad, Resistance, and Opposing Arrogance in the Quranic Thought of the Martyred Imam”, the seminar took place in the holy city of Qom on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

It was organized by the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) in cooperation with Al-Mustafa International University.

This major event hosted thinkers from several countries, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Gambia, and Ivory Coast, along with prominent domestic scholars, who explained the various dimensions of the martyred Leader’s Quranic personality.

Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri, head of ICRO’s International Center for Quran and Propagation (ICQP), presented a strategic analysis at the seminar, drawing the line between “heart arrogance” and “operational arrogance.”

Emphasizing the martyred Imam’s thought, he said, “Our battle with the tyrannical America is not a personal or partial confrontation, but rather a full-scale ideological war between the Tawhid (monotheism) Front and the satanic gangs.”

An arrogant person is someone who, by despising nations, considers himself the sole decision-maker of the world, and today, the jihad of explanation against the evils of these gangs is a heavy duty on our shoulders, he stated.

Based on the profound thought of the martyred Imam, one must distinguish between arrogance as a heart trait and arrogance as a behavioral and organizational character, he emphasized.

Citing the wise statements of the martyred Imam in 1996, he added that conceit means that a person sees himself as superior to others, but arrogance is the operational stage of this view.

“An arrogant person is someone who organizes his behavior in such a way that he humiliates others, insults them, and interferes in their affairs so that he appears as the sole decision-maker.”

Referring to the hostility of the global arrogance towards the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri said the issue of the tyrannical and oppressive America with Iran is not a minor or personal issue; rather, it is an ideological confrontation.

“They cannot withstand the monotheistic atmosphere of the resistance front and have risen up against this movement with all their might and various conspiracies.”

In conclusion, he called on intellectuals to wage a jihad of explanation against the promotion of the evils of satanic gangs like Epstein in the world, and said, “Today, it is up to us to explain and promote the pure thought of our enlightened and insightful Imam, who looked at the truths with the light of God. Spreading awareness and writing in the field of resistance thought is the antidote to the mischief that the enemy fears spreading in the world.”

Also addressing the seminar was Hojat-ol-Islam Rezaei Isfahani, head of the Supreme Quran and Hadith Society of Al-Mustafa International University, who explained the Quranic life of the martyred Imam.

Referring to the six pillars of the martyred Leader’s Quranic activities, he considered him an interpreter who spoke of the Great Jihad even during military meetings.

Applying the image of Pharaoh to arrogant people like Trump, Rezaei Esfahani said the reward for a lifetime of the martyred Imam’s Quranic struggle was martyrdom while reciting the Quran.

A number of papers were also presented at the seminar by representatives of Afghanistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gambia, Ivory Coast, and Pakistan.

In their papers, the scholars considered the martyred Imam’s Quranic resistance model the only way to free the Islamic Ummah from the clutches of arrogance.

At the end of the event, in recognition of their scientific efforts and promotion of the culture of resistance, a plaque of appreciation and spiritual gifts (including software and interpretative works of the martyred Imam) were presented to the representatives and guests of the participating countries so that they could be ambassadors of Quranic thought throughout the world.
