The statement stressed that the principles of justice, equality and the preservation of human dignity are fundamental values in Islam and essential pillars for building a stable and cohesive state.

The Malaysian Council stated that true stability cannot be achieved through security approaches alone, but through achieving social justice, full recognition of civil rights and strengthening trust between the people and state institutions.
