It was organized under the auspices of the Ulema Council of the Russian Muslims Religious Administration, the Mariam Kovaleva website reported.

The meeting took place as the Hajj season has been approaching and in line with the efforts of Russian religious organizations to present coordinated perspectives that respond to contemporary challenges.

Issues related to Russian Muslims were examined and speakers focused on the mechanisms of the Hajj journey, performing rituals, and facilitating rituals while maintaining Islamic principles.

Special attention was paid to the medical dimension and realities in the jurisprudential discussions of Hajj, especially the issues of women during the Hajj period, including traveling without mahrams (close relatives) and performing rituals in special conditions, among other topics discussed at the meeting.

This event reflected the efforts of Russian religious institutions to present jurisprudential perspectives related to the real lives of Muslims without disrupting Islamic rulings.
