Jeddah to Host Hajj Health and Safety Forum

IQNA – The 3rd edition of the Health and Safety in Hajj Forum will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, later this month.

The General Administration of Medical Services at the Saudi Ministry of Interior is organizing it under the patronage of Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz.

 The forum will be held from May 17 to 19 with the participation of leading officials, experts, specialists, and involved stakeholders.

The forum serves as a specialized professional platform for discussing health and security issues related to Hajj, reviewing relevant experiences and best practices, and exchanging expertise among stakeholders.

It aims to enhance the quality of health and security services provided to pilgrims while strengthening integration and coordination among relevant entities.

The event will feature several accompanying activities, including key dialogue sessions, applied workshops, a hackathon innovation challenge, and an exhibition.

Topics will cover sustaining excellence in services provided to pilgrims, strengthening inter-agency integration, prevention and preparedness, the role of technology and data, support services, research and innovation, and the exchange of expertise.
