‘Quran Teacher’ Project in Qatar Received Well
This was announced by the head of Qatar’s Committee for the Development and Promotion of Quran and Arabic Language Education.
Sultan Ibrahim Al-Hashimi said that this good reception indicates the positive impact of the Quran Teacher project in the educational field and confirms the success of its pilot phase, paving the way for the expansion of the project next year according to specific plans, Al-Sharq reported.
Al-Hashimi explained that this initiative is the first of its kind in the Arab and Islamic world and represents a qualitative leap in the development of the Quran teaching system in the school environment.
He stated that this is the result of specialized studies conducted by the committee with the aim of improving the methods of teaching the Quran and increasing its achievements.
Al-Ashmi added that the Qatari government is leading the way in adopting this innovative educational model, in collaboration with the ministry of Awqaf and Islamic affairs, which has been instrumental in identifying a number of qualified prayer leaders to participate in implementing this initiative.
