The ministry claimed in a statement published by the news agency BNA that security forces had succeeded in identifying an organization linked to Iran’s IRGC.
It said 41 of the main members of this team had been arrested and that the investigation and legal action against them were ongoing.
Bahraini officials also claimed that the case was filed in connection with charges such as “connections with foreign parties” and “sympathy with Iranian aggression.”
The Bahraini interior ministry said security operations and investigations to identify other individuals linked to this case are continuing, and if the connection of other individuals is proven, legal action will be taken against them.
Meanwhile, Bahraini sources and activists reported that the security forces of the Al Khalifa regime have arrested several Shia clerics, including Jamil Al-Ali, Mahmoud Al-Ali, Radhi Al-Qaffas, and Jassim Al-Mu’min, and transferred them to an unknown location.
According to these reports, the families and relatives of the detainees have not yet received information about their whereabouts or condition. Some Bahraini activists have also described these arrests as having political and sectarian dimensions.

It is worth noting that since the beginning of the US and Zionist regime’s aggression against Iran, a wave of political pressure has been launched against Bahraini citizens under false accusations of support and sympathy for Iran.
In a press conference Last week, Esmail Baghaei, the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, condemned the Bahraini authorities for imposing inhumane punishments against the people of Bahrain, including revoking their citizenship.
