Islamic Jihad Underlines Defending Al-Quds
Muhammad al-Hajj Musa said the blatant Zionist aggression targeting the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is an attack on the heart of the Islamic Ummah and the symbol of its dignity, Palinfo reported.
He emphasized that the Zionist aggression places all peoples and active forces before their historical responsibility to protect the holy sites from the Judaization project.
“We emphasize that defending the holy city of al-Quds is a fundamental pillar in confronting the Zionist project and a comprehensive religious and national duty. The occupiers’ attempts to dominate this city will fail in the face of the steadfastness of our nation,” he stated.
“We reaffirm our commitment to confront the occupation plans and firmly declare that the terrorism of the occupying regime will never succeed in breaking the will of our nation or distorting the reality of al-Quds, which will remain a trust on the shoulders of the Ummah.”
Thousands of Zionist settlers took part on Thursday evening in the provocative “Flag March” that stormed the Damascus Gate area, one of the main entrances to the Old City of occupied Jerusalem al-Quds, under heavy protection from the Israeli regime’s police.

The march was attended by several ministers and Knesset members, including far-right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and finance minister Bezalel Smotrich, in addition to Israeli police and army officials and other extremist lawmakers.
Participants raised the Israeli regime’s flags and banners carrying racist slogans calling for the death of Arabs and threatening the construction of the so-called “Temple” in place of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
