
The central cooling system at the Prophet's Mosque maintains a comfortable, temperature-controlled environment around the clock, delivering a cooling capacity exceeding 19,300 tons across 98,700 square meters.
Managed by the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, the network relies on an external central station equipped with six units that pump chilled water throughout the mosque and its courtyards.
A specialized national team of engineers and technicians within the operations and maintenance department monitors the system 24/7 via a central control network.
