Cuban Envoy Pays Tribute to Martyr Khamenei, Hails Him as Symbol of Sovereignty and Resistance
Cuba's Minister of Higher Education and Special Envoy of the Cuban President, Walter Baluja Garcia paid tribute to the martyr Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, describing him as an inspiring international figure whose lifelong commitment to Iran's sovereignty earned the respect of nations striving for independence.
Speaking during his visit to Iran, Baluja Garcia said it was an honor to represent the president and people of Cuba and to convey their respect and admiration for the Iranian government, the Iranian people, and Martyr Khamenei.
He said that for nations seeking genuine independence, safeguarding their sovereignty, and pursuing development despite an increasingly aggressive international environment dominated by Western powers, Martyr Khamenei remains "a source of inspiration, a subject of study, and a figure of profound respect."
The Cuban envoy praised the late Iranian leader for his dedication to defending the sovereignty of the Iranian people and for strengthening the longstanding friendship between Cuba and Iran.
Describing Martyr Khamenei as "a supreme figure, an international figure, and an admirable and respected personality," Baluja Garcia said his legacy continues to be honored by peoples around the world who value independence and national sovereignty.
