Mohammed VI Int’l Quran Award in Morocco Slated for August
The participants will compete in various fields of Quran memorization, recitation, Tajweed and interpretation of the Quran, the news site 24saa.com reported.
This edition will be held under the auspices of the Moroccan Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and on the occasion of the birthday of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
According to the announcement of the Moroccan Awqaf ministry, a group of memorizers and reciters from Arab, Islamic, African, Asian, European and American countries will be present at this Quranic event.
The opening ceremony of this international contest is scheduled to be held on Monday, August 19, at 10:30 a.m. local time.
